Grades

It's funny how important grades become once you are an adult learner. I mean, I'm sure that they're important to some college-aged and high-school students today; but as a rule, I care much more now than I did then.

Anyway, here I am at the beginning of my third semester of full-time college and I got a B. A freaking B. I am so pissed!!!! It was in my Hispanic Literature class. Now, I have to admit, the paper I did was not my best work. It really was a let-me-do-this-damn-paper-and-get-on-with-other-more-important-work paper. In the past that was enough for an A. Not anymore I guess. Now I have to do even better on the remaining four papers to assure an A in the class.

Now onto Philosophy. Remember the previous posts about Who Am I? and Where Did The World Come From? Well, I got an A on that one!!! Yippee! Vindicated (not really sure how since they are two totally different classes and all; but w/e).

So now instead of working on my first Algebra exam (take home, thank God), I am sitting here effectively procrastinating. I have to drop it off at school tomorrow night. We have no class because of some professor professional day or something like that. The exam is only 15 questions, and I'm done with 12 of them leaving the three WORD PROBLEMS!!! dum dum dum...... If you read my previous posts, you know I have a mental block when it comes to those. Guess what I'm doing for lunch tomorrow? RIGHT!! Word Problems.

I'm heading off to bed now.

chat soon.

xoxo
