Philosophy #2: Where Does the World Come From?

My world came from my parents. They designed it to the best of their abilities and I am left with the remains of that foundation. I have formed my adult world around what I was given in the beginning and am doing the best I can. The things that work for me to run my world may not work for others. The physical world in which we live has been here for millions of years, created in seven days by God.

Who created God? That is an illogical question. Questioning who created God leads one to believe that He was created. He exists outside time and space as He is the creator of time and space. God is outside of physical space, and outside of time. He exists as a being who is unlimited in time; having access to all time as if it were now.

Without faith, one cannot begin to perceive God. As it says in the Bible, “God is a spirit; and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth” (John 4:24).

We have all we need to survive; and must each find our way. The social world is dynamic: constantly changing as needs evolve. It is affected by culture and individuality. It was formed by those who were strong enough to continue when faced with adversity.

Each of us must create our own world to fit our needs. We must be conscious of the needs of self and family as well as the needs of society as a whole. We are all part of the big picture and share in the responsibility of it’s continued success.
